The second edition of the RSB Innovations Meeting, in partnership with Procter & Gamble (P&G), is happening this week in Cincinnati, USA.
Taking place on Wednesday, 7th February 2024, the RSB Innovations Meeting will bring regional and global transition leaders together to dig into the role of policy in helping the growth of a sustainable biocircular economy – and the ways in which positive impacts can be incentivised.

In partnership with CAAFI
Looking at the role of policy and standards in unlocking positive impacts for livelihoods and ecosystems, this session aims to grow confidence in the full spectrum of feedstocks that we need to invest in for the bioeconomy.

Session 2a: Navigating Policy Landscapes for Sustainable Feedstocks
Here, we’ll explore the current status of policy to unlock sustainable feedstocks and their supply chains. We’ll hear from experts from sectors that traditionally do not work together yet whose supply chains will rely on the same feedstock resource base in the transition away from fossil.

Session 2b: Scaling Sustainable Feedstocks – Strategies and Magic Ingredients
Breaking out into working groups, we will explore several key feedstock types including those with low iLUC and biodiversity positive impacts, to begin developing strategies to reach sustainable scale.

Session 3: Unlocking Sustainable Biomaterials
In partnership with the Bioplastic Feedstock Association (BFA)
Finally, we explore the role of global initiatives and civil society in supporting brands and other end users to generate the demand needed to turn sustainable feedstock opportunities into a reality, connecting customers and end users to a range of positive sustainability impacts.
