We’re hiring an Impacts Programme Manager and a Membership & Events Officer

RSB is looking to fill two (2) roles at our organisation: a Membership & Events Officer and an Impacts Programme Manager – ideal for anyone interested in furthering an international career in an organisation focused on sustainability and industry transformation.
You will work closely with RSB’s Outreach & Engagement Director to support RSB’s membership community via streamlined and effective communications tools and strategies, global event engagement, and an effective foundation of databases, structures and workflows. You will:
- Support the design, development, rollout, and administration of a new membership engagement tool (community management software) to manage aspects of the RSB membership experience including applications, communication, networking, working groups, and events.
- Work with RSB’s Outreach & Engagement Director and Marketing & Communications Officer to design and deliver effective communications to RSB members and prospects across all platforms (website, social, guides, events).
- Work with RSB’s Finance & Administration Manager to enhance membership workflows and communications relating to onboarding and billing, and to continuously develop and manage member databases and mailing lists.
- Plan logistics for RSB events globally – both virtual and in-person – to support the RSB team to deliver engaging, insightful, and impactful events to RSB members and our broader stakeholder community.
- Support reporting on and forecasting membership growth and engagement.

You will be working closely with RSB’s Programme Director and RSB’s Technical Director to design, develop and implement programmes that contribute not only to the overall success of the organisation, but also to supporting the transformation of industries towards a more sustainable and low-carbon future. You will:
- You will lead the design of RSB’s Impact Monitoring and Incentive Programme.
- You will lead the development of impact indicators linked to RSB’s 12 Sustainability Principles and Criteria, including identifying interesting impact metrics, methods for quantification and verification, and developing claims messaging linked to impacts.
- You will coordinate external experts, RSB’s stakeholder network and the RSB team to identify opportunities for new metric development, and ensure consistency and support for methodology development.
- You will develop and lead the implementation of programme pilots in Brazil, Ethiopia and South Africa.
- You will support proposal development and implementation activities for advisory services related to new impact indicator opportunities.
- You will lead the design of RSB’s Impact Monitoring Platform and test the platform with pilot partners using real life data.
- You will develop communications to showcase the progress and achievements of the programme, such as website articles, case studies, and joint communications with partners.
