RSB members are invited to register to the RSB Innovations Meeting, held in Boston, USA!

In partnership with The Boeing Company, the RSB Innovations Meeting is a first-of-its-kind event for RSB members and invited stakeholders, to be held at the MIT Innovation HQ, including:

• a welcoming cocktail (4th October)
• a full-day conference & group dinner (5th October)
• a site visit sponsored by World Energy (6th October)

The event will appeal to all leaders who want to dig deeper into the next stage of sustainability innovation.

The full-day conference is the main event of the RSB Innovations Meeting. We will host a series of interactive presentations and discussions that showcase the important work being conducted by RSB and its multi-stakeholder community across sectors such as aviation, shipping, textiles, chemicals and more. The event will offer guests the opportunity to participate in practical working sessions that are closely tied to RSB’s varied platforms and initiatives, and which examine the global transition to a bio-based and circular economy.

 

The schedule for the full-day conference is as follows:

  • 9am-9:45am – Welcome & keynote speeches

  • 9:50am-11am (Session 1) – Sustainable biomass policies: From headwind to tailwind for a strong bioeconomy

  • 11am-11:30am – Coffee break

  • 11:30am-1pm (Session 2a) – Impact accelerator: A session of the RSB SAF Policy Platform on book and claim

  • 11:30am-1pm (Session 2b) – Disrupting certification to scale the bioeconomy

  • 1pm-2:30pm – Lunch and networking break

  • 2:30pm-3pm – Plenary: Presentation of results

  • 3pm-4:30pm (Session 3a) – Innovative solutions to decarbonise aviation: the role of airports

  • 3pm-4:30pm (Session 3b) – Power-to-X: Validating sustainability and creating confidence

  • 4:30pm-5pm – Plenary: Presentation of results

  • 5pm-5:15pm – Wrap-up

  • The group dinner will take place later in the evening of 5th October.
    The site visit sponsored by World Energy will take place on 6th October.

Tickets are free, but available to RSB members only.  RSB members will have already received an invitation to register via email! If you are an RSB member and did not receive an invitation, please reach out to RSB’s Outreach & Engagement Director, Hannah Walker.

Please note that there is also limited space: only 50 attendees available, and only 1 attendee per RSB member organisation will be permitted. Additional registrations will be waitlisted.

Details for the welcoming cocktail, group dinner and site visit sponsored by World Energy will be made available once RSB members have registered for the full-day conference.
