Tom Berg

Tom Berg is a Senior Policy and Sustainability Manager at SkyNRG, a leader in the sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) industry. He is responsible for shaping and implementing SkyNRG’s ambitious sustainability principles into its SAF supply chains, and manages the interaction with SkyNRG’s independent Sustainability Advisory Board – comprised of NGOs and academia, which guides SkyNRG on key sustainability topics.

Tom leads SkyNRG’s policy efforts on a European level and works with relevant working groups and policymakers to advance SAF policy. He is also the lead author of SkyNRG’s SAF Market Outlook, a reference publication describing the state and trends of the SAF market.

Tom earned his MSc in Sustainable Development at Utrecht University in the Netherlands and his BSc in Earth Sciences and Economics at VU Amsterdam. Before joining SkyNRG, Tom worked as a management consultant at Guidehouse advising corporates and the public sector on decarbonisation strategies and energy and climate policy.
