Marie LaRiviere

Marie LaRiviere leads sustainable fuel strategy development and implementation across Amazon Operations. In this role, she drives decarbonization initiatives across Amazon’s global logistics network of 22 countries, supporting the company’s Climate Pledge commitments. She is responsible for developing innovative solutions that help businesses lower their operational impact through sustainable fuels while building resilient, circular solutions for the future.

Prior to joining Amazon, Marie was an advisor at Chevron, where she shaped sustainable fuel market strategies, developed and led infrastructure investments and supported major capital decisions. She holds an MBA and BS from Georgetown University and is a CFA charterholder.

With two decades of experience across corporate sustainability, clean energy investment, and sustainable fuel strategies, Marie brings deep expertise in developing practical decarbonization solutions while driving business value and implementing standards-based approaches to sustainability challenges.
