Alyssa Norris

Alyssa Norris is the Director of Sustainability at Aether Fuels, where she leads the company’s strategy to develop and commercialise sustainable aviation and marine fuels. Her work spans the entire value chain – from feedstock sourcing and life-cycle analysis to fuel production and regulatory compliance – with a focus on aligning technical innovation with evolving global sustainability standards.

With a background in civil and environmental engineering, Alyssa brings a strong technical foundation to her role, complemented by broad experience across the renewable energy sector. Prior to joining Aether Fuels, she supported clean energy initiatives across the United States and worked with the U.S. Department of Energy on policy development, workforce programmes, and community-based infrastructure projects.

Alyssa’s career has included roles in both start-ups and institutional settings, giving her a practical understanding of how sustainability frameworks can be applied in ways that are both rigorous and adaptable. She has served on a number of governance and advisory bodies, including the JetPerfect Foundation Board, the Washington State University Board of Regents, and as chair of the Golden Valley Electric Association Member Advisory Committee.
