Carina Wessels

Carina is one of RSB’s two Sustainability Managers. With a diverse skill set encompassing strategic and technical consulting, project management, stakeholder engagement and exceptional analytical abilities, she is committed to making a meaningful impact.

Carina earned her BSc Honours in Biodiversity & Ecology from Stellenbosch University, along with an MSc in Environmental Science, specialising in Climate Change & Sustainable Development, from the University of Cape Town. Before RSB, Carina worked as a Sustainability Consultant, leading various projects on water stewardship, benchmarking, monitoring and identifying broader sustainability initiatives in the agricultural sector. Additionally, she project-managed an online carbon footprint calculator tailored for the fruit and wine industry.

Based in South Africa, Carina is not only passionate about sustainability but also an accomplished professional photographer who finds inspiration in the great outdoors. She enjoys hiking, cooking and exploring new destinations through her travels.
