Registrations are now open for the RSB event, ‘Fostering Partnerships for a Just & Sustainable Bioeconomy in East Africa’
.
East Africa presents unique opportunities to make gains towards a sustainable and biocircular economy necessary for a world mitigating climate change. It is vital that NGOs and NPOs are part of this transition to ensure that it is just for all and that communities within Africa lead part of this movement, strengthening Africa’s position in the future world stage.
The Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials Association (RSB), along with BioInnovate Africa, is hosting the ‘Fostering Partnerships for a Just & Sustainable Bioeconomy in East Africa’ event on 26th October at Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya.
This will be an opportunity for NGOs in the environmental and social space to meet and learn about RSB’s activities in Africa and the Global South, as well to learn about developments from BioInnovate Africa and Solidaridad. The event will also include spaces for networking, bringing NGOs and NPOs in the region together to discuss their own interests and areas of overlap.
The ‘Fostering Partnerships for a Just & Sustainable Bioeconomy in East Africa’ event is now available for registration.
Date and time: Thursday, October 26 · 8:30am – 4:30pm EAT
