RSB UK RTFO Fuel Certification
RS BEU RED-certified operators can now demonstrate compliance with UK sustainability criteria for renewable transport fuels under the UK’s Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation (RTFO), using their existing RSB EU RED certification.
This recognition by the UK Department for Transport enables continued market access while upholding RSB’s globally recognised environmental and social sustainability standards across biofuels, biomethane, multi-feedstock systems, and international supply chains.
Certification context
The RTFO has driven the uptake of renewable fuels in UK transport since 2008. Following this recognition, RSB EU RED-certified operators can now supply the UK market using their existing RSB EU RED certifications.
