Alternative Fuels are Taking Flight in Mexico!

Our Executive Director, Rolf Hogan, attended the first ever Mexican Bio Jet Fuel Congress hosted by RSB community member and partner, the Mexico Biojet Cluster. RSB has been working with the Cluster for over a year and we are extremely pleased to see the rapid development of bioenergy solutions – grounded in sustainability – in Mexico.

The event was an excellent opportunity to further promote bioenergy, and alternative aviation fuels in particular, to an audience of technical, business and governmental representatives. The platform brought together many experts and we hope to see the collaborations and partnerships formed in September lead on to many more innovations in the sector in Mexico.

With a strong focus on sustainability and a holistic approach to managing technical, policy and commercial challenges, Mexico is taking real leadership in advancing the case for a sustainable aviation industry.
