- Nomination to The Earthshot Prize 2026, one of the world’s most prestigious sustainability prizes, awarding five £1 million grants each year.

Categories open for nomination
The Awards celebrate a diverse range of leadership across the bioeconomy, recognising both early-stage innovation and established impact. Five categories are open to all organisations, and one is reserved exclusively for RSB members:
- Bioeconomy Breakthrough (Early-Stage Innovation)
Celebrating pioneers at the start of their journey, like innovative start-ups, research initiatives, and early pilots that have strong potential to scale and transform markets. - Sustainable Fuels & Energy Innovation
Recognising breakthroughs in energy and fuels, from SAF and renewable hydrogen to enabling systems like traceability platforms, delivering credible alternatives to fossil-based systems. - Sustainable Products & Materials Innovation
Awarding commercially viable products and materials that replace fossil-based or linear models with sustainable, circular alternatives delivering measurable impact. - Leadership in Sustainable Procurement
Spotlighting buyers and procurement leaders who use their purchasing power to drive systemic change through long-term offtake agreements, verified impact standards, and reshaping supply chains. - Civil Society Leadership for Social & Environmental Impact
Honouring NGOs, coalitions, and community-based organisations whose work delivers just and impactful transitions on the ground, linking social empowerment with environmental performance. - Special Recognition Award: Outstanding Individual Leadership (Member-only)
Reserved for RSB members, this category highlights individuals whose leadership has been instrumental in advancing credible sustainability across their organisations, sectors, or communities.

Winning the RSB Transition Leaders’ Awards 2025 is a journey. Each milestone is designed to give finalists and winners visibility, recognition, and a credible platform to showcase their impact.

Entering the RSB Transition Leaders’ Awards 2025 is simple, and the Award Force platform will guide you every step of the way.
Here’s how it works:
- Register or log in: Visit rsb-transition-leaders.award.vote to create an account, or log in with your existing details.
- Start your entry: Select the category that best fits your work and give your entry a name.
- Complete the online form: Provide basic details about your organisation and nominee, then respond to five to eight short-answer questions (max 500 words each, depending on the category). All questions are mandatory.
- Add evidence: Upload supporting documents (e.g. PDF, Word, or PPT files up to 20MB each) to strengthen your case.
- Save as you go: You don’t have to finish in one sitting. You can edit and resubmit your entry right up until the final deadline.
All entries must be submitted by 19 September 2025 at 23:59 CEST.
