RSB joins Green Fuel Forward campaign to drive sustainable aviation fuel demand in Asia-Pacific
.
RSB is proud to announce its participation in the Green Fuel Forward campaign, a new regional initiative launched by the World Economic Forum, in collaboration with GenZero, to accelerate the adoption of sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
Green Fuel Forward aims to catalyse SAF market development by uniting airlines, logistics providers, and corporate buyers operating across APAC. Through practical tools and targeted capacity-building, the initiative will equip organisations with the guidance needed to support SAF procurement in line with competition law, including book-and-claim systems, SAF certificate tracking, and credible reporting practices.
Through the campaign, RSB will contribute its globally recognised expertise to ensure that environmental and social integrity remain central to APAC’s emerging SAF ecosystem. RSB’s participation builds on a legacy of work in the region, including the widely publicised sustainable feedstock assessment for SAF in Southeast Asia, which highlighted the region’s capability to supply around 12% of global SAF demand by 2050.

“RSB is proud to join Green Fuel Forward as a sustainability champion, supporting the growth of sustainable aviation fuel demand in Asia-Pacific while ensuring credible, high-integrity approaches to environmental and social sustainability.
Guided by our globally recognised Principles and multi-stakeholder governance model, RSB brings deep expertise to boost aviation decarbonisation in the region. Our long-standing commitment includes leading sustainable feedstock studies in the region and now guiding a sustainability roadmap for Power-to-X aviation fuels in APAC. Through the RSB Academy and other capacity-building initiatives, we are also equipping companies, workforces, and policymakers with the tools needed to deliver a resilient, net-positive aviation sector.”

Asia-Pacific is poised to become a global hub for SAF, thanks to its growing aviation sector, abundant feedstock resources, and a policy environment increasingly geared towards decarbonisation – with regional governments, such as Singapore, Australia, Japan, and others, implementing supportive frameworks to accelerate the production and use of greener jet fuels.
RSB’s participation reflects its ongoing work to shape robust sustainability frameworks that enable SAF markets to scale with integrity, helping to ensure that demand-side action is matched by credible safeguards. Together with its partners, RSB will continue to support efforts that turn ambition into action, ensuring that the transition to SAF is not only rapid – but responsible.
