Congratulations LanzaTech Winner of EPA’s Green Chemistry Award

LanzaTech won the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)’s Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award and was honored in Washington, D.C. today. Dr. Jennifer Holmgren, CEO of LanzaTech, Dr. Sean Simpson, Chief Scientific Officer and co-founder of LanzaTech, and several others were present to accept the “Greener Synthetic Pathways Award” for the development of a process that uses waste gas to produce fuels and chemicals, reducing companies’ carbon footprint. LanzaTech earned RSB’s sustainability certification in 2013. Congratulations LanzaTech!
