IISD Publishes RSB’s General Assembly Report

The International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) published a summary report of RSB’s 1-3 June 2015 General Assembly meeting in Geneva, Switzerland. Notably, the meeting resulted in the approval of the first “Low iLUC Risk Biomass Criteria and Compliance Indicators”, election of Board of Directors, and a four-panel public session that concluded with strong endorsement from participants for the RSB as the most comprehensive standard on biofuels and biomaterials and a range of new ideas to support uptake of certification.
