Register for the RSB Transition Leaders Forum in Singapore

RSB is honoured to invite RSB members and guests for a full-day meeting in Singapore on 22 May 2023.

RSB Transition Leaders Forum: Connecting the Dots for a Biocircular Economy, in partnership with The Boeing Company and Neste is a cross-sectoral event for RSB members and invited guests to scale a sustainable biocircular economy in South-East Asia and beyond.

Across our collaborative network, RSB and our members are taking a landscape-level approach to scaling a sustainable biocircular economy. They are transition leaders: industry innovators and civil society stakeholders determined to shift sectors towards bio-based and circular business models – with a strong commitment to sustainability. By demystifying complexity and connecting the dots across sectors and supply chains, these transition leaders are able to develop sustainability strategies, guide financing decisions, provide credible claims and future-proof their organisations against supply chain uncertainty and instability.

This meeting of RSB members and invited stakeholders will provide attendees from the materials (including chemicals, polymers, textiles, apparel and more), aviation, shipping and energy sectors with the collective knowledge, skill and confidence to build a network of transition leaders that will come together and learn from one another to sustainably scale the bioeconomy in the region.

We will host expert discussions on relevant topics:

  • developing the foundations of a biocircular economy;
  • ensuring credible claims for sustainable supply chains;
  • creating landscape-level impacts in the region;
  • future-proofing financing decisions with a long-term lens on sustainability;
  • and more to be confirmed soon.

A networking cocktail will occur after the main programme.

RSB has been working with diverse stakeholders in South-East Asia for a few years, and has recently started a project to identify feedstock and economic potential for SAF in the region. The RSB Transition Leaders Forum will be a fantastic opportunity to strengthen our collaborative network and further support existing efforts to advance the transition to a sustainable and circular bio-based economy.

Registrations for the full-day programme are now open. RSB will also host a site visit on 23rd May, which is open to invited guests. Further details will be shared with registered attendees soon.

If you are an RSB member and didn’t receive an email inviting you to register to the event, please contact RSB’s Membership & Events Officer, Aléz Odendaal.
