Sunchem Biofuel Development (South Africa) - Chamber 1 - Growers and Producers
Samantha Hampton is Head of Business Development and Sustainability at Sunchem Biofuel Development South Africa (Sunchem SA). She has an undergraduate and masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cape Town as well as a further masters degree in Renewable and Sustainable Energy Engineering from Stellenbosch University. Sunchem SA are leading the global development of the novel Energy Tobacco crop Solaris, and Samantha has been involved with managing the trial, pilot and now expansion phases of the project in South Africa since 2012. Following completing the RSB auditor course in 2014, Samantha has also managed the RSB certification of the Solaris project under the Sunchem SA umbrella in 2015. It has been the first project registered with the RSB in South Africa.

Meshack has been employed by KEFRI since 1990 and is now a Principal Research Officer charged with problem analysis, project development and management, science writing, formulation of policy briefs, information dissemination, monitoring and evaluation, training, partnerships and networking.

Laxman Neupane, is the Manager for the Centre for Empowerment and Development (CED) Nepal based in Bhaisepati, Lalitpur, Nepal. He joined CED Nepal in 2013 working for the Governance, Human Development and Sustainability Program, and promotes sustainable smallholder biofuels in Nepal.
Green Aviation Research and Development Network (GARDN) - Chamber 5
Kateryna is currently completing a Master’s degree in Strategic eco design at Université de Montréal and has experience working with sustainable business strategies in the aviation industry, particularly with the emerging sector of alternative aviation fuels.
Ellie Wood is a Regional Director of Environmental Strategy at Boeing Commercial Airplanes, where she is responsible for developing and executing sustainable aviation fuel projects and engagements in North America and Asia Pacific.
